Ricardo Báez (Caracas, 1983) is a designer who focuses on editorial design. Interested mostly in the relationship between design and photography, he has been involved with the development, edition, design and promotion of photographic projects in form of book or photobooks. He has participated in different prizes as a jury (Best Book Design from all over the World. Stiftung Buchkunst, Germany; FOLA® Photobook Award, Argentina and CDF Ediciones, Photography Center of Montevideo, Uruguay). Between the most outstanding recognitions they are: 1st Prize Dummy Award Kassel 8. Kassel Fotobook Festival (2016), The Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation “First Photobook” Award (2017), Best Book Design from All Over the World. Honorary Appreciation.
